Media Operations Specialist/Ad Ops Specialist

 

MWWPR are looking for a Media Operations Specialist/Ad Ops Specialist who would be responsible for the day-to-day trafficking and management of paid media campaigns. This will require daily interaction with both the internal paid media team as well as external clients and ad trafficking and social media platform partners to ensure consistent and accurate delivery of all advertising campaigns

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and traffic campaigns in DCM
  • QA ads to ensure they meet site specs and ad server requirements
  • Generate, QA, and troubleshoot implementation of conversion tags
  • Set up 4th party tags in DCM
  • Manage, traffic and optimize campaigns across social channels
  • Oversee media tracking and analytics set-up and implementation
  • Stay informed on all key social media platforms to ensure latest tracking and campaign optimization tools are being implemented
  • Active participation in media planning discussions regarding trafficking strategies and related operational issues
  • Improve data quality by collaborating with the Analytics team to ensure campaigns are structured in a way to produce optimal data outputs and insightful reporting
  • Troubleshoot ad or tag issues with site or ad tech partners
  • Resolve tracking and reporting discrepancies with Analytics and/or partners/vendors
  • Review new media plans and updates with Media team before trafficking, and work with Analytics team to ensure plans will allow them to collect data accurately, efficiently, and effectively

Qualifications

About You:

  • A bachelors degree from 4-year university, or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in Digital Media Operations, Digital Ad Ops, Digital Trafficking
  • Ample trafficking experience with DoubleClick
  • Ample experience trafficking social media campaigns
  • Demonstrate an understanding of rich media, dynamic creative, mobile and video ads units
  • Team player who enjoys working in a collaborative, no-silos environment
  • Highly motivated and always looking to take the initiative (and engage team members)
  • Methodical, well-organized, and detail-oriented
  • Genuine curiosity with how things work
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with HTML and/or JavaScript
