Mid level to senior level candidate, reporting directly to the EVP, with strong experience in managing public relations and communications programs – Corporate Communications, Issues Management, B to B marketing, and Corporate Affairs. Public Affairs knowledge and background a plus, but not required.
The candidate will engage directly with clients and conduct the work associated with related campaigns. Requires very strong writing skills and presentation skills. The candidate must have experience in and the ability to create communications programs from the ground up.
Requires a full understanding of and ability to create and manage social media platforms, paid traditional media (and paid social in some cases), and the ability to conduct media relations programs and provide client counsel on issues management.
What You Have to Have
Agency experience is a plus – needs to able to manage multiple high pressure clients simultaneously – while proactively developing, planning and implementing positive communications programs.
Candidates for this position will manage the proactive media relations and communications programs for large energy interests, national business logistics concerns, national business services and product corporations, health care interests and professional service firms. The candidate also will provide communications support for regional issues management and crises.
