    MWWPR has an exciting opportunity for a high-energy, strategic and creative Senior Vice President, Technology Public Relations to join a dynamic team of professionals delivering world-class account support to a diverse mix of clients spanning the enterprise and consumer technology industries. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and has experience within the enterprise tech and consumer tech sector that could include: financial services, cloud/edge, big data and analytics, security and privacy, mobile, commerce, health tech/digital health,  B2B-B2C.  This is a senior leadership position (practice and office), reporting into the GM, Western Region.

    Responsibilities

    The Senior Vice President position requires exceptional client management and leadership skills as well as the ability to manage and direct client account teams, lead integrated, creative planning processes and continually develop and implement cutting edge, world-class program concepts for clients.  The Senior Vice President holds an in-depth understanding of the fast-paced technology industry, solid strategic written and verbal communication skills, and a reputation for developing and nurturing strong client relationships.  The position would include active engagement in new business from sourcing, lead generation, through execution of proposal – delivery, as well as the organic growth of current account work, managing a bicoastal team of direct reports, while supporting the annual growth initiatives for the MWWPR Technology Practice.

    Qualifications

     

    • Minimum 12+ years of experience developing and implementing integrated communications programs for challenger/disruptor brands, both established and early-stage.  Agency experience is required.
    • Strong technology industry experience and business understanding – both enterprise and consumer tech experience, B2B-B2C
    • Strong analytical, critical, creative and strategic thinker with excellent (and actionable) writing skills
    • Consistent track record leading efforts for and winning new business – via incremental growth of current business and/or new business opportunities
    • Ability to prioritize and execute against multiple projects, initiatives, with global teams and client partners
    • Proactively generate new ideas and opportunities to support client business & communications objectives
    • Strong corporate, product, brand messaging capabilities and narrative development to support client programs, related initiatives
    • Possess exceptional client relations, management skills; experience managing accounts for profitability and effectiveness which includes establishing KPIs, overseeing and developing budgets, scopes and team structures
    • Solid team leadership and team building experience, including management of local teams and distributed teams
    • Entrepreneurial spirit, energetic self-starter, problem solver
    • Ability to travel domestic/international for client events, meetings and on behalf of MWWPR
    • A bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field required
