  • Overview

    MWWPR is looking for an Analyst or Senior Analyst interested in working with clients in Brand Marketing and PR/Communications to inform their business marketing decisions.

     

    The Analyst or Senior Analyst will be responsible for supporting the design, execution and delivery of measurement and reporting programs for clients across the agency to help shape and support communications strategies and creative direction and provide meaningful and actionable insights. This position requires an understanding of traditional media and social media space as well as the tools available in the industry to measure impact in these spaces. You will work closely with account teams across the agency, not only to inform their communication strategies and measure success.

    Responsibilities

    • Utilize third-party tools to aggregate and analyze traditional, social and digital media data
    • Understand the media measurement space, and stay current in best practices and tools
    • Leverage data to develop new insights with the goal of improving planning, deliverables, growth and efficiency
    • Help develop internal processes and lead the analytic group in the management of projects and resources
    • Manage, organize, and clean data effectively and efficiently while reducing manual reporting and data redundancy
    • Use data visualization skills and tools to analyze, package and communicate reports to key stakeholders, both internally and to external clients

    Qualifications

    • Highly versed in media measurement tools (e.g. Netbase, Moreover, and Brandwatch), and how to effectively extract data and write queries in these systems.
    • High level of comfort with Boolean logic and query writing, and knowledge of other programming languages desired
    • 2-5 years of experience in marketing/communications analytics and measurement, and ability to write Boolean queries.

    • Required research tools and skills: Social and Traditional Media Tools (e.g  Netbase, Moreover, Sysomos, Dow Jones’ Factiva, Crimson Hexagon, and Lexis Nexis)

      Nice to have: Microsoft Power BI, Google Analytics, Similarweb, Hitwise, Facebook Insights, SQL, Tableau, Brightedge
