We are looking for an Associate Account Executive to join our Consumer Lifestyle Team in our Chicago office.
What Is Included (Primary Responsibilities)
· Own media relations for your clients, managing the development of media materials, proactively pitching daily to secure coverage, and cultivating relationships with journalists and influencers
· Serve as liaison between clients, vendors, and agency departments to keep teams and deliverables organized
· Begin to develop a thorough understanding of clients’ businesses and industries, and the industry issues that directly and indirectly affect the client
· Build knowledge and understanding of industry publications, nationals, broadcast and digital media
· Proactively generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client program success; participate actively in account team strategy sessions and brainstorms
· Have an understanding of the digital landscape and provide hands-on social and digital support, including content development and digital strategy for clients across multiple digital platforms. Whenever possible, utilize MWWPR’s research & insights and paid media offerings to enhance any earned media program.
· Begins to develop an understanding of the pitch process for new business; conducts research to support pitch activities
· Participate in logistical operations of special events planning and coordination
· Begins to develop knowledge of the full services of MWW, procedures and business methods
· Provides mentorship to junior staff/Associates

The ideal candidate for the Account Director role is a creative, disruptive corporate communications leader, passionate about corporate reputation management and has a track record of creating/working on programs that help transform Company reputations among all stakeholders. Expertise with executive visibility and positioning, narrative development and reputation management (including issues management) and integrated program management required.

MWWPR UK is looking to hire a talented Paid Social and Digital Senior Account Executive to join its growing UK digital team and help support the development and implementation of campaigns across our UK and US client base. Based out of our London office this role will report into the UK Digital Lead but work as part of a larger global digital team.
MWWPR is one of the world’s largest independent public relations agencies and we work for some of the world’s biggest and most innovative consumer and B2B brands.
We currently run paid media campaigns across core social media channels, as well as display, programmatic, search, PPC, publisher, and OOH for a significant portion of our UK and global client base. Our UK work is currently focused on a variety of B2B audiences, while our global work spans consumer and corporate awareness and engagement campaigns and media buys.
Key responsibilities will include the set-up and management of all UK paid digital and social media campaigns, as well as support for our US team on one of our largest global clients. In doing so, the successful candidate will need to work closely with our client teams in the UK to ensure all campaigns are implemented as planned and optimised to establish or evolve benchmarks and achieve agreed results/KPIs. This will include the management of paid media budget and any activities required to optimise campaigns to achieve maximum results in the most efficient and effective manner.
